Startup SuperGrafeno announces that adding its graphene to concrete increases mechanical strength by up to 40%

SuperGrafeno challenges the limits of concrete with high-performance Brazilian graphene

SuperGrafeno has just proven, in laboratory tests, something that could change the construction industry forever: the simple addition of its functionalized graphene to concrete was able to increase mechanical strength by up to 40%. That's right—forty percent more strength, with the same cement base.
The testing doesn't stop there. The graphene-modified concrete also showed:

  • Superior tensile, compressive and flexural strength.

  • Up to 40% more total mechanical strength

  • Reduction in water absorption and corrosion

  • Lighter, faster and safer works

  • Lower cement consumption and lower environmental impact

  • Longer structural life and long-term savings

  • Drastic reduction in water absorption

  • Greater mechanical resistance

  • Extended durability

  • Less maintenance required

  • Greater thermal comfort

  • Less cracking

What does this mean in practice? Fewer cracks. Greater safety. Projects that last decades longer. And real savings in time and money, from the construction site to the structure's lifecycle.

Market outlook

SuperGrafeno is already in negotiations with major construction companies to supply and apply the material. Industrial-scale production is expected to begin soon, solidifying the startup's position as one of Latin America's leading graphene suppliers.

According to the founders, the company's goal is clear: to make graphene accessible, applicable, and indispensable for the future of construction.
