SuperGraphene
SuperGrafeno is a Brazilian startup based in Palhoça, Santa Catarina, dedicated to advancing the development of advanced materials in Brazil. Through a research collaboration with UFSC (Federal University of Santa Catarina), the company has developed a new graphene synthesis route that is more environmentally friendly, sustainable, and economically viable.
Initially developed in the Chemical Engineering Department at UFSC, the SuperGrafeno project improved its synthesis methods in 2021. Currently, the company has partnerships with several universities in southern Brazil for projects involving graphene applications in industry, in addition to collaborations with other startups and companies interested in developing graphene products.
As a nanotechnology research company, SuperGrafeno is engaged in studies and research into the production and application of graphene, as well as other carbon nanocomposites such as graphene oxide, nanocatalysts, and biopolymers. Its focus is on industrial applications across various sectors, seeking to drive innovation and technological progress.
